Basin Head Beach Prince Edward Island

Hi and welcome to BasinHead.com; a site dedicated to providing information and the history of Basin Head. I grew up in the area and have spent most of my childhood summers there swimming in the water, jumping off the run and lying on the white, sandy beach. It is one of my most favorite spots on earth. Basin Head started as a fishing harbor and now is a popular swimming and day use park. The beach and museum is visited by locals and tourists alike during the warmer months and has been visited by people all over the world.
